Home Poem by Ray Hansell

Home

I have walked many darkened streets
I’ve walked through the winter’s snow
I’ve spent much time on my own
It was the loneliest time I’ve ever known

In all the places that I’ve been
I look back and now realize
That home is the only place
Where you have the closest ties
