Home Boarding Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Home Boarding

Home boarding

Old enough to know past
Having read, for more, add
I know of secret kiss
In moonlight and hiding
At the banks, shores, trees.

Vanessa of Hong Kong
Is paid for, boards at home
Her parents faithful; rich
Pay so she learns to teach.

But she fools the boarder
Goes to meet her lover.
Secret kiss is better
To her than the lessons.
