Homecoming Poem by brandon zumwalt

Homecoming

Rating: 5.0

Tonights the night
when girls are going to be twirled
around the dance floor and held tight,
despite all the lies,
this is the night
that our hearts glow bright.

Our eyes start to glow,
our mouths start to kiss,
holding each others hands,
mabye even wrist.
We hold until the song dies.
At the end of the night,
we look into each others eyes,
and forget all the lies.

When its over we feel free
cause we just woke from the cutest dream,
the one to sweep you off your feet
and leave you rushing through the empty streets,
cause you let her leave,
so now your racing through the empty streets,
chasing her down to let her know shes a queen.
