Homeless Poem by Dorsey Baker

Homeless

Baby you don't have to
Be living in the street
Out in the cold
Out in the heat
Out in the rain
Baby you don't have to do
What you are doing to yourself
Baby you don't have to
Let happiness pass you by

Stormy weather
Ain't gonna
Get much better
Too many clouds
They dark the sky
Baby you don't have to do
What you are doing to yourself
Baby you don't have to
Let happiness pass you by
