Homeless Poem by Qwerty Poems

Homeless

Rating: 5.0

A helpless man is sitting on the side of the road.
He's ragged, beaten up, his chances at life look slim.
He hates himself for what he is.
He's a begger but people just look and offer no help to him.
What would you do if you happened to be him?

Starving, dirty, sick, and cold.
Depressed, friendless, he's all alone.
Nowhere to lay his head; he has no home.
He wants some love, he's like those who don't roam.

He sings and strums the chords of his heart.
In return he gets a dollar or two.
Which he spends on food and maybe a room.
Man can he sing the blues!
