Homeless Curtains - Poem by Jon Edward Walker

My curtains don’t match from
one to the next,
I cut them from sheets.
they are blue
like a Caribbean sky
mixed with navy blue,
king sized so I could
make four of them to cover two windows
I made them from the
homeless shelter
handouts

Jon: what a lovely poem...seeing the blessings despite life's often unfair circumstances. (Report) Reply
