Homeless Man - Poem by elysabeth faslund

He threw a shadow
Royally tall
Against the insect-splattered
Wall,
Blocking out the
Sunlight...
Leaving no gray areas.

I walked away
Looking back once...
I found him small,
So small.
But then, there was something
In my eyes.

Your heart is bursting forth from your words here leading you, I think, to 'small tears' as it does the reader....Your writing is amazing......~~~marci.xl (Report) Reply

...a tear perhaps? Brillant again, and again!
