Homespun is homespun,
homespun that's all.
Not really in style,
at the masque or the ball.
Some verses are homespun,
pushed aside, to the back,
as if sweet simple words,
depth and eloquence lack.
Yet homespun is sturdy.
It's not easily torn.
Some homespun is lovely,
and by all can be worn.
