Homeward Bound, But Still Lost Poem by DM W

Homeward Bound, But Still Lost

O we cling to dreams
like lost children, hoping to
find their way, out of
a dark forest! Broken links
and mixed messages
define this digital age.
We are far from home.
We navigate through gleaming
mazes of branded,
virtual marketplaces.
We're often spellbound
by tainted information.
The Truth is always
harder to find and requires
courage/sacrifice.
Gilded palaces of sin
are ubiquitous.
Many ways to fall
from grace as dogs of decay
bury last, fragments
of Light. We are far from home.
