Honestly Let Me Talk To Myself And Remind It... Poem by RIC BASTASA

Honestly Let Me Talk To Myself And Remind It...

enough of these tantrums
that i have caused upon myself
that i have shamed upon myself
an honorable man
to the eyes of those who do not know
my cravings
and longings and

what do i call it? these rampant
rantings of a man
who may not after all deserve to live
for another day
a devil's quivering chanting
that i may take my life
and let others live
in peace.

drama, enough of this drama.
i admit, it is this unrequited love
for all these years
that keep me living
to the life of la vida loca.

she bangs!

alright, talk, i will listen
in a minute.
