Honoured By Your Love (Sonnet #19) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Honoured By Your Love (Sonnet #19)

My heart is honoured by your love, sweet love:
I breathe in the sky of felicity,
Surrounded by a flock of white doves,
Wish to be with you for eternity;

Oh, my heart is yours, mould it as you like;
I surrender my life to you, to us,
What's a distance when our two hearts are tied,
When with your tender heart I fuss, discuss;

Mad I am in your love, oh, sweet madness,
As a butterfly around a candle;
My heart, exalted by your tenderness,
Sway with your love's flame, where love is ample.

To die for the sake of love is a birth,
Baptized in heaven, as body is earth'd.
