Hoodwink Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Hoodwink

Sorry to have shattered your belief
With topsy-turvy words of truth
It comes to others with great relief
When come about has time for sooth

Since misconceptions always deceive
Some ideas have a rotten root
Lay back to spit what was received
As the dentist yanks out the tooth.
