Leigh, I got your message and shall look forward to seeing that 'changes' have been made, which have not appeared yet. And you may change the title, you say. : )

Leigh, I plan to put this poem into my July 2023 'Showcase' of poems I've enjoyed (usually recently) on PH. Thanks! bri : )

(cont.) If we could review how our comments show up on a poem's page, we commenters could readily act to make corrections OR apologies. : ))))

I 'HATE' the 'WAIT', between sending a comment and its appearance on a poem's page (a wait I suppose to give PH's supposed censoring system to do its 'work'.

(cont.) Why I say that is timeconsuming to explain so I won't. Ha ha. I may have misinterpreted something he said in a comment I DON'T SEE ON poem's page. : )

Today I see no comments yet below. BUT yesterday I left a lot of them and apparently my PH friend James M. THOUGHT I, bri, am/was the author.

(cont.) Synonyms of 'hook line and sinker': completely, totally, entirely, thoroughly ...A person could 'fall in love completely' OR, very different, usually, one could be deceived, tricked completely.

(continued) For example, not ALL will know the meaning of 'hook line and sinker' (it could be related to fishing, you know? !) (cont....again)

I just gave 5 stars, BUT giving the readers some explanatory definitione and/or Poet's Notes would be helpful. Or put more explanation into the poem. (cont.)

line 8: 'I'm all in' I believe you mean you are committed to carrying out a plan, in this case to love the guy, and act accordingly, I THINK. (CONT.)

line 3: not 'I' (oops) , but 'I'd' or 'I had'. right? ;) 'fallen': I ASSUME you mean 'fallen in love' or something similar.

(cont.) But...'ad modum'? ? I looked it up and feel it is a MISTAKE online. Now I found: 'the abbreviations a.m. (from the Latin ante meridiem, or 'before midday') and p.m. (post meridiem or 'after midday') are most often written as such: in lower case with periods between the letters. '

line 2: using 'am' for 'a.m.' could be misinterpreted (perhaps it's not likely) by some readers. Here: 'a.m. abbreviation Before noon (used after a time to indicate it is between midnight and noon, i.e., in the morning) . Ad modum (less commonly used) .
