Hope Poem by Dez Clark

Hope

You're dangling by a thread
And people don't respect you,
You're being hated by all,
So what do you do?

When push comes to shove
And you're standing all alone.
You have everyone's weight upon you,
Will the sticks and stones break your bones?

Well it may seem very dark,
The world seems so full of hate,
But Im here to catch you when you fall
Because a sudden death will NOT be your fate.

I want to tell you that I love you,
And I hate to see you mope.
Just always have this in mind,
There's always a shattered peice of hope...
