Another day will come
A new dawn, a beginning
A promise of a brighter tomorrow
A light after a stormy weather
Yes, a day of hope
yearning for the best
A smile after a cry
or joy after sorrow
But for whom hope is lost
The coming of dawn is pain refreshed
a mourning;
an endless grief over feelings hurt
For the beginning of a new day
is an agony;
a shout of despair unheard -
and longing for miseries no more.
An irony
for those who dream of joy unending -
And life of crying unknown?
Will there be a brighter tomorrow
for those whose hope is lost?
Or it will be only a step nearer
to forget life once valued so dear?
