Hope-Less Poem by Tom Fox

Hope-Less

Rating: 4.8

It's all like a dream when I stare into your eyes
Oh, how I wish it would come true
So grand it would be to stand by your side
And give all my love to you

The key to your heart, I have yet to understand
So magical and so entwined
A sign from the start, lend me your hand
Let me scream to the world that you're mine

But, alas, I awake and again you appear
Just as perfect as you could ever be
My heart you can take, just don't leave me here
I need you, I love you, Stephanie

You've made me hate all women but now I hate just you
I'd rather kick the uckin' bucket than keep livin' like I do
You filled me full of wishes, you filled me full of hope
You sacrificed my instincts and you blew them up in smoke

You emptied all my pockets, you emptied all my dreams
You've broken all my lockets and you tore me at the seams
The saddest part about this, now 13 years down the line
I still wish you were out there, 'cause you're always on my mind
