Hope On Another Day.. - Poem by Veronika Bitkina

Sleep.
Hope, tomorrow
would be better.
Another day.
Another fight.
Please dear people!
Let me be!
I'm tired now...
I cannot see...
I cannot fly...
My wings are broken...
All tears are dry
from previous days,
and words remain
Unheard. Unspoken.
In chest: alive
and crying pain...
Please dear people!
Stop your court!
I'm tired now...
I cannot fight...
from last resort
I close my eyes
Good night
dear people!
just good night..

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Dedicated to my friend Katya. Sometimes, there are good times and sometimes the times are not so good.. and sometimes closest friends beat the hardest.. It can destabilize an already tortured soul to just give up and cry.. so, dear people, just don't do it please.. it's painful. very painful..
