Hope To Be Doing It Poem by Francis Duggan

Hope To Be Doing It

The many thoughts in my mind leaves my memory in strife
I write about people and i write about life
I write rhymes about Nature and the Natural beauty i see
That every day is everywhere around me
I write rhymes of heaven and i write rhymes of hell
And of the people in life who are not doing financially well
And i write of the privileged and the billionaire
Who of money to live on have more than their fair share
The rhymes keep coming to me in notebook i pen them down
But never for money or for literary renown
A rhymer at best is all i can wish to be
It was my love of rhyme made a rhymer of me
But i have no wish to give rhyming away
And i hope to be doing it on my life's final day.
