Hopeless Poem by Georgi Todorov

Hopeless

Rating: 5.0

Lonely heart, Mom said,
Godless hole in your chest, unbelieving,
feeble-minded moronic pinhead.
You're so far from being
an Angel heart.

Hopeless child, Dad said,
with twisted feelings, daydreaming.
Your ambitions are braindead.
I'm so sick of raising
a Monster child.

Frankenstein, they said,
Unnatural mechanic human being
living in someone else's head,
Damn, your curse is living
a wasted life.

Well articulated and nicely brought forth with conviction. An insightful work of art. Thanks for sharing, Georgi.

I'm so sick of raising a Monster child......this is terrible for a child growing up. all such words of rejection can kill the psyche of a child. always praise them so that they may become great men and women........ thank u dear poet for highlighting this point.. child psychology is so important.. tony
