Hope's Diamond Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

Hope's Diamond

Not silver,
not platinum,
and surely not gold

A mind
eager to learn,
something else to behold

More treasured
in essence,
than riches untold

Where a Newton
or Einstein
—begin to unfold
