you stole my heart across the room
i knew what i wanted
i had to make a move
all night the idea was taunting
everything about you was enticing
your glowing warmth
your twinkling beaming playful eyes
your rich chiming soothing voice

i slipped out a shy and playful grin
as you floated closer to me
time stood still
it felt like it would never end
the emotions were mutual
then... you kissed me
your lips velvety soft
you discarded me in a trance
i flet like i was on cloud nine
hoping it would never end
