Horse Mushroom Poem by Richard George

Horse Mushroom

Rating: 4.5

Earth to earth fruit
in the grave-grass, my
Siren to gather.

Cheek to its cheek
in my garden I nuzzle
to cool,
mammary muskones;
tempt-apprehensive

as when my first Naiad
rose on the bed, smiling
'Ride you'.
