Hospital Room Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Hospital Room

In the hospital room
The anesthetic smells
And formalin

My brain
It became
Chemical
More than before

Any my emotions
Waxed chemical
I asked
How am I
To do with my Love
Thus chemical?
And
Minerva I prayed
To revert all
For you.
Just you.
