Housewife
People ask me
are you working or a housewife?
my answer
yes, I am a full-time working house-wife
I am a Mom, a Wife
Daughter and a Daughter-in-law
I am an alarm clock
a Cook, a Maid, a Teacher, a Waiter
a Nany, a Nurse, a Care taker
a Security officer
a Councilor, and a Comforter
I work 18 hours
from 5 am to 11 pm
weekly seven days
I do overtime too
but get no off, no holidays, no leaves
no half days
no relief, no excuse, no consolation
I am on call all hours
and get paid with a sentence
