How can I forget my love?
You have departed from me, wounded is my heart.
How can I forget your passion,
I hold it nearer to my heart.
My tears of love are melting like the dewdrops,
dry and fallow lies your ground,
How can I forget the love that we have made.
I have given you my life and love,
promised you my heart.
How can I forget that you do need me too
Even though you're gone, I shall woo your heart.
Can't you feel the coolness of my shadow?
Water when you're thirsting, rain when you are dry.
Lead you to my wilderness, speaking to your heart.
I shall give you hope and love and understanding.
If we shall be together forever my love.
I give you my undying faithful love
