How Deep Poem by Sam Hawk

How Deep

Rating: 3.5

How deep did you get in my soul
How long will it take me to extract you
What piece will I not be able to release
To lovely to let go freely
Needing only some pain to force it out

How sweet was the time that we stole
each and every time
lost in our breath
Teased, tempted, and
torn, our souls,
Spinning together
conflicted apart that they dared to spin another

How will we remember this
Will it be hard to forget or hard to remember
The time that we stole, the kiss
we shared
or missed
The time we broke our hearts
or let them soar without questions or
words, the future, or expectation
Will we meet one day and reminisce
maybe only in our minds
or maybe as old dear friends who
shared
a secret elixir
that brought them bliss
in the form of a secret stolen kiss
