How do I respond?
How do I react to those who are fond?
I have affections that I wish to return,
Oh how do I learn, how do I learn?

An expression of kindness, from a glowing face,
I sit here in blindness, how should I reply to such grace?
What should I say, what should I reveal?
For is it safe, to say what I feel?

The truth is what people deserve,
But do I have the nerve, do I have the nerve?
Can I destroy my fear? Can I tell what I feel?
Can I say as they hear, the truth, what is real?
