How Do You Say So Long - Poem by Faith Elizabeth Brigham

how do you say
so long to someone
who has given you
so much joy and happiness
for sixteen years
who now lays near-lifeless
in your aching arms

i can not say goodbye, dear one
i will not say goodbye
no, not now or ever
just rest well, my sweet angel
and know you were my love
yes, you were my life

Thank god I had no chance to do this Faith, from laughter to tears, life is prescious, just hold them for as long as god allows. 10 buckets of love to you, Tai (Report) Reply
