Being with you there are some things I need to know,
Instead of rushing into things I think we should take it slow.
When it comes to you I know how I feel,
But I have to know if your feelings are real.
Sometimes I feel like I can be with you forever,
Other times I don’t know if we’re even together.
I get mixed signals from you and I don’t know what to believe,
Do you want stay with me, or do you want to leave?
If you love me I need to know,
If you don’t then you have to let me go.
I’m not going to stay in something that is only one way,
When I told you how I felt, it was like you had nothing to say.
What is it that that you are so afraid of,
Are you scared that what we have could turn into love?
If that’s the case then the truth is that I’m scared to,
I’m scared that it will ruin everything I have with you.
If we talk about how we feel maybe we can work this out,
Wanting to be only with you I have no doubts.
Whether or not you want to be with me, the choice belongs to you,
With whatever choice you make I’ll make do.
Don’t worry about my feelings because I am strong,
I just don’t want to be in something, if it feels wrong.
Tell me whether or not you want to be with me,
If what we have is based on a lie, then we’ll both be unhappy.
There is only one person in the world that my heart belongs to,
Just look in my eyes and you’ll know that the person I’m talking about is you.
If I have to I would let you go,
Trying not to let you see how you had hurt me so.
When you came back I knew it was meant to be,
You can’t understand how happy this makes me.
To be with you there were so many rules I’ve been bending,
But it was worth it just to get my happy ending.
