How Is Your World Poem by sam puskar

How Is Your World

If you think about your life and don't seem to care
that all around you others walk and at you they stare
Why is that? you ask of me as if i should know
To tell the truth even if i knew I would not tell you so
For you chose this life you lead and even if i told you it's not right
Could you change and see the difference, between day and night
You see others and you think are they happy or does their world also stink
Cause you know your lousy life causes you to drink
But, hope is here, turn your mind and dont despair look ahead and dream no more
For as dreams appear and makes us happy, sadness is around swimming toward the shore
We cut the dreams and make our daily plans, so we can walk with pride
for everybody knows that there is no free ride
If in your mind you think you are a failure, ask a person walking by
For if you think so little of yourself others will agree, they dont want to lie
It was told many moons ago, we must do what we want today
For who can guess when on this earth, is our final day.
