Two days ago we had a scare, our only daughter was in despair
She went to a hospital only to discover her heart beat was just bare.
So they put a stint by her heart and now she again is as well as before.
Everything again is well with us, because of this little girl we adore

while laying in bed thinking of my past and things of long ago
i thought of my year book with pictures of Jack, Frank and Joe
wished i would of kept it cause it showed my past
it showed how we dressed the style that did not last
...

If you think about your life and don't seem to care
that all around you others walk and at you they stare
Why is that? you ask of me as if i should know
To tell the truth even if i knew I would not tell you so
...

What do know about the birds i thought
is it worth my time to learn?
About the one i just bought
tonight ill stay up and let the candle burn
...

Have you ever stopped and smelled the flowers along the road
or do you just look at them and hop away like a toad
I think it's something we all do along's life's journey that we take
always in a hurry to see what next mistake we make
...

Each night I write a letter to my only love
and with word i cry since she went above
I do not mail them mail does not go their now
so i keep them, until i find out how
...

I would climb the highest mountain and swim the longest sea
as long as you are with me
There is no end to places we shall see
as long as you are going with me
...

Last night i got a call from angels, they are on their way
for me to get my life in order, long they will not stay
I answered back, i am ready my mission i have done
all is counted and recorded of the things i have done
...

We known each other for many years, as well as you may know
still can't understand why only things you say are so
I used to have an opinion and it felt good to express my thought
but you changed that so every decision from you must be sought
...

I write this letter to my soul mate to thank her for being their
whenever she was needed my problem she would share
If love and devotion could be measured somehow
the weight that she carries would be great by now
