Our house was once filled,
With so much love and laughter,
We shared hopes and dreams,
And promises of happy ever after,
We had each other's backs,
Each other's biggest supporter,
And then you changed,
I'm like a lamb to the slaughter,
So sad, so scared,
And so alone,
Wishing so bad,
You'd just pick up the phone,
Apologise,
And beg me for one more chance,
And get back,
To our beautiful romance,
But I know that won't happen.
And that hurts,
Surely this can't,
Get any worse?
Now my home,
Has no love, no laughter,
And shattered where my dreams,
Of my happily ever after!
