How Lovely Are Your Dwellings Lord. Poem by dave lessard

How Lovely Are Your Dwellings Lord.

How lovely are thy dwellings Lord
wherever I go, you're there;
wherever I speak your name
or whisper a silent prayer.
In the temple of my mind Lord
you're with me in the Spirit;
out even in the meadows Lord
your by my side, or near it.
How lovely are thy dwellings Lord
in the face of foe, or friend;
I'm secure within Your truth
as my life begins its end.
In the promise of tomorrow
in the hope of each new day;
I'm on the path of beauty
as your truth lights up the way.
How lovely are your dwellings Lord
and the presence of your grace;
I stand at heaven's doorway
on the Word that I embrace.
