How Much You Mean To Me Poem by Chris Lee

How Much You Mean To Me

You are to me, my day and my night,
The sun, the moon and the stars so bright,
The birds like to sing, early in the morning,
Without you by my side, i cant hear them calling,
Hearing you laugh, puts a smile on my face,
A smile that can make me, win any race,
Without you no food or wine, can quench my thirst,
Your an elegant rhyme, well written and versed,
And what have i done, to deserve such a wonder,
To pick me up, from the stone I'm under,
The only woman, who has me head over heels,
So that i can take, whatever life deals,
All the pain and anguish, that you have been through,
I give you my word, i will protect you,
And so my dear lady, i'm under your spell,
Never wake me from it, i love it so well,
Now i will love you, with all of my might,
As you are my sun, my day, my evening and night
