how sweet you are when you smile that way,
You brighten my mind with the things you say,
Inaudible words, symbolic in meaning,
I feel sometimes that I am almost dreaming.

How sweet you are day after day,
Tumbling, falling, yet finding your way,
Like turning a corner for the very first time,
How brilliant is that! I breathlessly chime,

How sweet you were when you first called my name,
Causing such happiness, wonder and joy,
Oh such pleasure i dare to employ,
keeping me youthfull every day,
As you master your journey in your inevitable way.
