How To Be A Genius Poem by Arun Maji

How To Be A Genius

This is all about love
And committing your life
To that subject of your love.

Unless you truly love singing,
Could you practice singing
Days after days? Years after years?

Unless you practice singing years after years,
Could you become a great singer?

Genius is no accident.
It's the result of bleeding heart
Crying soul
Aching body
Sleepless night
Starving gut.

If you love something
And then commit yourself to subject of your love
Unto death
You become genius.

Yes, it's that easy.
But did I say
Commit unto death?
Yes. I did.
