Hope Is Like A Breeze Poem by Arun Maji

hope is like a breeze
it's always there everywhere.
though sometimes-
it seems it's dead, it's not there.

it's not hope that dies
it's our effort that dies.
come out of
that dark cage of fear and despair.
stand under open sky
and breath-in some fresh air.

see the Sun?
not yet? rub off web from eyes-
and see again.
see that cloud? and behind it, few faint rays?
yes, that's Sun's rays.

it's not light that dies
it's our courage that dies.
to find light in despair
look within, outside never.
