How To Be Empty Poem by Casey Renee Kiser / snail viXen

How To Be Empty

I whisper, 'I love you'
He whispers he loves me
We play pretend
so convincingly
I breathe him in
He blows me away
We sing to the death of us,
'Happy Birthday'
We are experts now
on how to be empty
We begin every night by
jumping off the balcony
