How To Be Great Poem by Arun Maji

If you want to rise high
you have to put your heart and soul
in every little thing you do.
You have to make it a habit.

If Good is done only selectively or occasionally,
you are then occasionally good.
occasional goodness is too far from greatness.

You have to weave
habit of doing good within your soul.
So that anything you do
it's only goodness that is expressed.

Goodness has same virtue as love.
You can not love your son
but hate your neighbour's son.
Either you love all,
or you love none.

Love is extension of your soul.
When your soul expands, it covers all.
If it encompasses your son,
it will encompass your neighbour's son too.

People who are loving
they are loving to their enemy too.
People who are kind
they are kind to their enemy too.
They are made of love and kindness,
they can't express anything
but love and kindness.

If you want to be great
you have to weave goodness
within your soul.
So that goodness and you
become one and only.
