How To Tell Who's A Friend Poem by Elizabeth Lindberg

How To Tell Who's A Friend

Dare to bare my soul to thee,
what's inside the heart of me,
if you don't notice, you won't care,
you'll never know my soul was bare,

Be ye friend, this I would find,
sharing what's alike in mind,
attitude, spirit of truth,
reveals it's self in our behooth,

So how know I, if you are friend?
we share our hearts through thick and thin,
the waves of life through which we crash,
will not release the hands that clasp,

whatever falls, know I, you're there,
burdens lighter that we share,
but far better then the troubles,
true friendship shines, the joys are doubled!
