How Would Be Siva? Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

How Would Be Siva?

A sadhu,
Yogi,
Fakira going
With a kamandala,
A trisula,
Into the rudraksha bracelets and rosary
The snake rounded around
The blue neck
And into the matted hair
With the crescent moon by his side
And with the Ganges flowing from

A night-wanderer,
A crematorium ground-dweller,
Ash-laden, bare-bodied,
Tiger leather cloth wearing Siva
With the sacred thread over it,
He is atop Kaiash
Doing tapasya
And with the three ash-lines on his forehead
Where the trinetra is.
