Howling Universe - Poem by Jeffrey Philip Clegg

Beneath the myths floating across the night sky
I walk amongst lakes with surfaces in starlight
When eagles are replaced by owls
While wolves raise voices to the moonlight
I watch in wonder at the shooting stars
And I am brought to see the heavens
dancing -

The gift of the Big Bang

The Milky Way
the paths to follow.

I like this even more the second time reading than the first. The long lines flowing into each like the scenery of the poem's universe works for me. (Report)Reply
