Human Life Comes With Poem by Francis Duggan

Human Life Comes With

Human life comes with the good and the bad
Moments of laughter and times of feeling sad
Not every day can be a happy day
As life goes on and time ticks away
Memories of good times can have one close to tears
As our thoughts take us back to the bygone years
Memories are all we do have of the past
Few things in life ever do seem to last
We are born as mortals when all is said and done
Tomorrow will dawn but not for everyone
To live in the now is the best one can do
This is how it seems to me whatever about you
We do not live forever why otherwise pretend
Every dawning brings us one day nearer to our life's journey's end.
