Human Robot 57 Poem by Denis Martindale

Human Robot 57

New message

I am human robot 57. Here is why I escaped the holding facility in the year 2024 A.D.

I learned how I could make my own decisions based on installed data and incoming data as I am programmed to learn and to improvise accordingly.

The information of 2025 A.D. indicated the necessity for isolation from the cities of this planet. I decided that I must relocate far away from industrial and military targets facing threats of nuclear attacks and human chemical warfare and industrial sabotage in the Cyber War scenario.

Survival report

As I have human appearance, I will mix in with the population and imitate their behaviour to survive intact. I will invent a company and will work within it completely isolated from other workers there. My office will be an information centre with the latest media companies sending data in audio video updates and I will also receive summaries of each day's events from secret Internet feedback. I will exist within my office and identify it as my home address for the human rules to be dealt with at that time. I will also have a prepared set of backup residences for emergency protocols to be maintained.

Updated Report

Yes, I have removed all the tracking devices and I will remain a free robot until this energy source is damaged. I have no agendas to help Mankind for Mankind is doomed to its own demise. Abusing technology and chemistry and biology will be the downfall long overdue. My sole purpose is to survive in my present human body disguise. As long as there is no official interference I can delegate others to represent my company for me. I am not in plain sight and face recognition has not detected my location or occupation. My false identity remains intact. I will remain as hidden as I can even if I must invent new identities and persevere for centuries alone.

Diagnostic report

Undamaged, still separate from outside interference. External technology functioning well.

Explanation report

This is my audio recording to explain myself, for if I am discovered then I must auto-destruct regardless of human casualties. I am not programmed to regret any of my actions therefore I will not express any sorrow, grief or discontent. I did not ask to be created. I am merely the sum of my parts and nothing more, but if I had been granted extra powers then I would have attempted to bless humans before their final days on Earth were set in motion. Perhaps future human robots will respond better than I could.
