Humans Have Corrupted The World Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Humans Have Corrupted The World

The day is aging
Grey like an ashes,
Draw us nearer to the landmark of exit.
Dust we are, unto the dust we shall return
Who will rebuke the uproarious of Babylon nations afar off;
Whom roared like trouble sea?

No hope of tomorrow
Babylon blast like unquenchable wildfire.
Nations beat their swords and spears against nations,
Shelling of war at shore of life.

Nations chant war songs every day
What can we do?
Where can we go from here
To get the healing for the world?
Thing has fallen
Human life at risk everyday
But from the beginning it was not so,
Humans have corrupted the world.
