Humans Sitting In Judgements Poem by Vadakkumpurath Ramesan

Humans Sitting In Judgements

The humans try the humans
As if they are assigned
With the task of God's assignment
Of judging the sins
Of the sinners on earth!

The humans sat in Judgment
And the weak will be in the box
Facing the trial in a fix
With none to defend his case!

The accused in abused
And incarcerated for no reasons.
But the mighty in Judgment
Go by the dictum
Be wrong and strong
Rather than right and weak!

The men in Judgment
Proceed with procedures
With no divine denouement
With no divine Jurisdiction
With no divine sanction
And snatch the sword of God
To behead his foes!
The humans with rule book
Read the charge
And inflict the sentence
With no room to have a say
For the accused before execution
Of the Judgment in absurdity

Humans behave to their fellowmen
As if the butcher with knife
Slit the throat of a sheep
With no mercy is heart
With no tears in eyes!

They sent innocent to gallows
They burn the helpless
They kill the men whom they
Never had encountered with
And the act enacted as a rule
And order of this nature
From Joan to the last innocenet
Whom they never detected still!
