Humming To The Stars Poem by Moth Harris

Humming To The Stars

Rating: 0.5

When we met, the world was spinning at light speed,
I needed a good book to read and you truly believed,
In the legend of the trees and that they come from seeds.

I was curious of my own world again, my friend.
I was enlightened to descend on the wisdom you'd extend.
So I pretend that I'm in love and that's the message you send.

When we left, the world had stopped in the stars.
I spend my life wondering where you are, and why so far?
You left a little black scar on my big red heart.
So I light my cigar and play my guitar until you come back to me.
