Hummingbird August Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Hummingbird August

in bounteous blooms
where rapture and beauty meet
in green parkland days

a colorful blur
gone past the edge of my sight
sweet humming I hear

but mellow sunshine
seems to overpower all
in the time of birds
