Hunchback Poem by April DOWN

Hunchback

Burden me, for I know I crack your back
My "quirks" discovered as a fatalistic personality
I'm snapping too, my spine is bent
I'm a hunchback soul, it's stability I lack

I'm snapping the threads that bind myself
To this reality, They were fraying to begin with.
I flick them to test them and see if I can still stand
I guess these are the cards we were dealt

How can you possibly carry me?
Bent and twisted we drag each other
To the next checkpoint
A few moments to recover
