Hurry, Goader Of The Envies Poem by james watkin

Hurry, Goader Of The Envies

Hurry, goader of the Envies
Hitched to our greedy ride.
Unreproved, pressed infantile
Toward the high street's pride.
Faster, faster, Irrationality
At priority speed;
Making to flash by, gleamier
Our insubstantial need.
What tis sanctions with blind turns in
The Spirit of the Age
Howlingly wills each life, from its
Meaning to disengage.
